My prompt for Unconscious Associations was a question:  Can I create a studio show that isn't organized by theme, event, chronology, or concept? What challenges would I encounter?

My material includes an archive of 35,000 digital and print photographs from over a 50 year period. The only criteria for selection is that the work "speaks to me" at the particular moment in time without concern of how they will work within a larger context.  I am working organically, improvisationally and building as I go. ​
